"You are an incredibly talented teacher.  You have taught me so much about how to teach this age group and provided so many amazing ideas and resources.  I am so very grateful."

What should I be doing right now? Writing sub plans. What am I doing? GETTING SO EXCITED ABOUT ACTFL! I just mapped out my days. I didn't want to cram too much in, because I want to make sure I have time to meet with and talk to folks. So here's what I'm focusing on:
  • The CI Posse booth (booth 1104). I'll be doing two sofa chats and one demo. Join me at noon on Friday to talk FLES/elementary, and at 9 AM on Saturday to learn how to personalize everything! Finally, I'll be demo-ing four different ways of doing Movie Talk at 4 PM on Saturday. There are going to be so many amazing things happening in that corner of the exhibit hall, because we're right near Fluency Matters, Señor Wooly, and Garbanzo. It's gonna be crowded, and I can't wait!!

  • #earlylang. Calico Spanish has a fantastic list of elementary sessions. I'll also be at the NNELL booth (booth 440) at 11 AM on Saturday, so stop by and say hey.

  • The "Hot For Teacher" comedy show. I didn't go last year, but I laughed so hard when I saw it in Nashville in 2017. This is bound to be a highlight.

  • CI Sessions. THERE ARE SO MANY! Check out the list that Fluency Matters assembled.
  • Friends. I am dying to see old friends and meet so many new ones. Come find me!

What are YOU looking forward to? If you can't come, what do you want to learn/hear about/see?
Bises,
